Google Science Fair is an online science competition which was declared in January 2011. This online science competition is for students (aged 13 to 18) from throughout the world. On 9th May, 60 semi finalists were announced by Google. You can check and vote your favorite project at google.com. To vote click on your favorite project title and submit your vote. Your voting will decide which project will win the People’s Choice Award. There are 3 age groups such as 13-14, 15-16 and 17-18 and you can give 1 vote to each age-group. The voting is open until May 20 at 11:59 PM EST.The winner of People’s Choice Award and 5 finalists per age group will be declared on 23rd May. From each age group 3 finalist winners will be chosen and among them the Grand Prize winner will be selected. The Grand Prize winner will get US $50,000 scholarship, his/her choice of experience from Google, CERN, LEGO or Scientific American as well as amazing 10 day Galapagos Islands trip with National Geographic Expeditions. 15 finalists will get US $25,000 Scholarship, his/her choice of experience from Google, CERN, LEGO or Scientific American and a Goodie Bag from LEGO and Google.
