Post-Osama, 20-yr-old Navy Seals movie in demand

BANGALORE: While the excitement over Operation Geronimo and Osama Bin Laden's death is slowly dying down, Navy Seals, the US Navy's Special Operation Force, is still in the spotlight. The Seals' operation has made the curious layman turn to a two-decade-old English film `Navy Seals' to understand their functioning better.

Those who knew such a film had been released some years ago made a beeline for the nearest video library to grab a copy of the Charlie Sheen starrer. K L Chandrashekar, owner of video library Channel 9 in Bangalore south, said he has placed an order for 10 more copies from his distributor. "The demand for this film has gone up purely by word of mouth from the older generation of movie buffs. We are requesting our customers to return this film within a day to meet the demand," he said.
